Job Responsibilities:

- Oversee the shift and manage all direct staff to ensure smooth production operations, and meeting product specifications.

- Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved to meet order requirements.

- Ensure compliance with the company's Health and Safety protocols for all direct staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take full responsibility, under the guidance of the Assistant Production Manager, for managing operators, both permanent and casual workers, as well as production and quality targets.

- Ensure the efficient operation of production processes in alignment with the company's quality standards and procedures.

- Manage, motivate, and develop the performance of direct reporting staff.

- Monitor, assess, and report on production performance, addressing general operational issues.

- Facilitate effective communication with team members while focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Enforce adherence to Health and Safety guidelines throughout the shift, addressing all related matters in line with company policies.

- Utilize problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to support team members in identifying root causes and resolving issues efficiently.

- Collaborate closely with other Shift Supervisors to ensure smooth handovers and communication between shifts.

- Ensure that training needs are met for both current and future production demands.

- Play an active role in the company's continuous improvement initiatives to support future growth.

- Maintain GMP standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

- Ensure efficient use of company resources to optimize operational costs.

- Make decisions by the company's organizational structure.

- Maintain high punctuality standards.
