Hiring Procurement manager for Oil & Gas Business unit.

The desired candidate will be responsible for handling the purchase/ procurement of various products (Static / Rotary equipment, Bulk material such as steel, plates, pipes, fittings, valves, etc.) for the EPC projects of our Oil & Gas BU.

Job Description :

1) Experience in handling procurement involving EPC projects of the Oil and Gas industry with items including

2) Pipes and pipe fittings such as Flanges, Valves (mechanical and pneumatic), Fittings, Instruments etc.

3) Experience in handling procurement for bulk handling material such as vessels, heat exchangers etc.

4) Conducting cost analysis and estimation of EPC projects of Oil and Gas industry

5) Float RFQ and RFP to potential bidders.

6) Experience in handling procurement in all forms of engineering such as mechanical, E&I, civil etc

7) Follow client standards and procedures for inspection, documentation requirements, delivery Requirements, Technical specifications, etc.

8) Create necessary comparison sheets with techno-commercial details.

9) Conducting Face to Face and telephonic negotiations with vendors.

10) Generating Purchase Orders within the Order management software.

11) Vendor evaluation, Vendor registration in the internal portal

12) Creating a seamless track of procurement items of the project.

13) Ensuring close follow-up with all vendors for shipment to the site location

Key skills/ requirements needed :

1) 8-12 years of procurement management in Oil and Gas sector, handling clients across PSUs and private Industries.

2) Having great communication, negotiation and convincing skills and ability to hustle.

3) Having great connects in the procurement vertical of the industry.

4) Experience to manage and coordinate with cross functional team such as tendering, estimations, and operations ensuring smooth flow of projects.

5) Experience in connecting potential vendors of oil and gas industry.
