About role :

- They're looking for a sourcing wizard to lead their supply team, travel across India to find the best manufacturers across categories and make them fall in love with Zilingo.

- The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a good relationship with local manufacturers and excellent vendor management capabilities.

Key responsibilities :

- Vendor verification, quality checking and performance tracking.

- Vendor Ecosystem Management

- Liaising with sales leads & buyers to understand buyer product specifications

- Tracking market trends to identify viable new categories.

- QC agencies partnership management

- Liaising with customer care and operations teams across geographies to resolve buyer side issues

- Managing supplier relationships, identifying sourcing opportunities, forging and developing relationships to enable continued rapid growth of ZilingoAsiaMall

- Establishing & maintaining monthly targets and KPIs

- Strategizing growth hacks for the vertical to ensure that the company engages in partnerships that create a compelling customer experience and values for all relevant stakeholders

Does this sound like you?

Must haves :

- 5+ years experience in retail/wholesale procurement

- Procurement/ sourcing experience from electronics and/or consumer durables industry

- 3+ years of supplier/vendor management experience

Strongly preferred:

- Handled Chinese suppliers

- Passionate about supplier/vendor management and process creation

- Managed above 20 vendors

Preferred :

- Experience in 3rd party service agencies negotiation / network

- Experience in PAN Asia procurement/ sourcing
